The Captain/Co-Captain Scotch Doubles Tournament is a pick your partner, handicap 10 tournament. You do not have to partner with the captain/co-captain of your team. You may choose a captain/co-captain from any team or division in APA. As long as the player is a captain/co-captain by week 6, they are eligible to participate and partner with any other captain/co-captain. APA doubles format will be used.

• Must be an active APA Coastal Carolina League member to play!

• $30 entry fee per team. $1000 added! 40 Team Limit.

• * Players must be listed first or second (Captain/Co-Captain) on the roster on a current FALL session STANDARD
  9-Ball, 8-Ball or Ladies team roster and have a minimum of 10 scores in 8ball or 9ball. (Masters Doubles Captains and
  Co-Captains are not eligible)

• *No changes can be made to the scoresheet, reg. captain/Co-Captain at this point.

• *Winning team heads to Vegas in August to play in the Mini Mania events and have some fun at the APA National Championship as there is no formal event in Vegas for this local captain/co-captain appreciation.

• Any additional money is awarded to 2nd, 3rd , 4th , etc., depending on number of teams.

• * If team decides not to go to Vegas for some reason, prize and trip will be awarded to the runner-up team, etc.

• * The event will be 8-Ball and current 8-ball handicaps as of day of play will be used. Handicaps will be adjusted for players who only play on a 9-ball team, and they will play at their 9-ball Skill Level. (SL 8 & 9 in 9-ball can enter as SL 7)

• * You do not have to partner with the captain/co-captain of your team; you may choose a captain/co-captain from any team or division who is on a standard or Ladies team in CCAPA. As long as the player is a captain/co-captain on a standard 8
  or 9 ball team, they are eligible to participate and partner with any other captain/co-captain.

• Races for 8-ball will be according to doubles race format. Modified Single Format.

ALL REGISTERED PLAYERS MUST BE AT THE TOURNAMENT SITE NO LATER THAN 9:45AM ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT OR THE PLAYER WILL LOSE HIS/HER SLOT IN THE TOURNAMENT.

TEAM MEETING AT 10AM – PLAY BEGINS IMMEDIATELY AFTER!
