Congratulations to the teams who are qualified for the NC 8-BALL WORLD QUALIFIER CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

The Cities event is scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 17-19th  and is being held at Breaktime Billiards. The tournament will be Modified Single Elimination, where ONE team will move on and head to Las Vegas to compete in the APA World Team 8-Ball Championship.

Registration begins at 6:00pm on Friday night. The Team Captain’s meeting will be held at 6:30pm SHARP on Friday evening. Play starts immediately after, at 7:00pm. One round will be played on Friday, and play resumes on Saturday morning at 9am.

All players will need to fill out and sign a “Team Certification Form” prior to the event. Any player not signing the “Teams Certification Form” prior to the start of their match will be ineligible to participate. Please make sure your team arrives in time to fill out and sign.

APA game rules and Local By-Laws still apply. In addition, the “HLT Team Captain’s Notes” also apply. They are available HERE. Please review them carefully!

TEAMS THAT HAVE OUTSTANDING DUES WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CITIES!

DRAW AND MATCH SCHEDULE will be posted on here a week prior to the event. 

**PLEASE NOTE! Only players from the last Spring Session, 2023 roster (with the required number of 6 matches during the session and a minimum of 10 LIFETIME 8-BALL matches in the last two years) are eligible to play in this tournament. Current Session matches DO NOT count toward matches played. All teams must have retained a minimum of 4 original players on the roster from the time they qualified.
No exceptions!!**

** In order to play in the World Championships, ALL players that were on the qualified team MUST be on a roster on a team somewhere in the 8-ball Format. (Standard team, Ladies or 8-ball Doubles) in the 2023 session.

Tournament will be played on 2 tables throughout, except for the finals, which will be played on 1 table, with a 3 1/2 hr Sudden Death time limit.
