Congratulations to the teams who are qualified for the 8-BALL SC WORLD QUALIFIER CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!
The Cities event is scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 7-9th and is being held at TBD. The tournament will be Modified Single Elimination, where TWO teams will move on and head to Las Vegas to compete in the APA World Team 8-Ball Championship.
Registration begins at 6:00pm on Friday night at YOUR LOCATION. The Team Captain’s meeting will be held at 6:30pm SHARP on Friday evening. Play starts immediately after, at 7:00pm. One round will be played on Friday, and play resumes on Saturday morning at 9am.
Teams that do not play on Friday evening do not have to be at Friday’s Captain’s meeting. However, make sure to come an hour prior to start time on Saturday, in order to have time to register, fill out and sign the Cert Statement and meeting.
All players will need to fill out and sign a “Team Certification Form” prior to the event. Any player not signing the “Teams Certification Form” prior to the start of their match will be ineligible to participate. Please make sure your team arrives in time to fill out and sign.
Your team will be playing several matches and if there is excessive skill level movement on players on your team, you could end up having the whole team disqualified at the event.
APA game rules and Local By-Laws still apply. In addition, the “HLT Team Captain’s Notes” also apply. Please review them carefully!
TEAMS THAT HAVE OUTSTANDING DUES WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CITIES!
**Only players from your 2023 Spring Session roster (with the required number of 6 matches during the session and a minimum of 10 8-BALL matches in the last two years) are eligible to play in this tournament. Summer session (current) matches DO NOT count toward matches played. All teams must have retained a minimum of 4 original players on the roster from the time they qualified. No exceptions!!**
